Coin Toss

    Some of you are writing this one off right from the start because your local police department has told you to stay out of the roadway.  But there is always a way around the rules without breaking them.  Sometimes a more productive way.  

    Our department was told we could not have a coin toss in front of our station because it impeded traffic flow.  No sweat, yes sir officer (they love that).  Now here's what ya do.  Contact a local merchant in your district.  For instance we contacted the office of our local strip mall and asked them if they would mind us staging at the entrance to their fine establishment.  "No problem, just fax us a copy of your insurance certificate".

    Now your on private property and as long as the traffic coming in doest back up on the roadway your golden.  Set up near the entrance road if it has one, or near the corner of the parking lot, and be sure to have your guys get out an old set of boots and stand near where the cars come in.
