Pool Fills

    Now most departments already do this in one form or another.  But just in case you haven't heard of it here's how it goes.

    Take your tanker or your largest pumper and advertise for the pool fill on your sign or in the paper, or even with your local pool installation company.  We have an 8,500 gallon tanker at our disposal, and charge $200 per load in district, $250 out of district.  Great for driver training, extra credit, and Public relations which will be gold in the mine for all your other fund raising projects.  

    The pool fills will flow in from word of mouth around town, and is a GREAT time to advertise some other projects, like the beach party or chicken barbeque.  Its simple, you already have the home owners complete attention, hand them a half dozen fliers, because after you leave or even while your there, the neighbors are going to come over and see why the fire truck is at their house.  Now your customer is going to advertise for you.  Its a beautiful thing.
